Treasurer Mandel's Office Presents Financial Education
COLUMBUS – Representatives of Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel participated today in the 11th Annual Dia del Los Niños/Children’s Day, a children’s event in Columbus sponsored by the Ohio Hispanic Coalition. During the conference, the Ohio Treasury’s Community Education Department provided financial education resources for children and adults to help educate participants on smart money choices.
“Dia del Los Niños is a wonderful program that brings together the local Latino community to celebrate their strong and rich heritage. I am proud that my office was able to help educate participants on ways to improve their personal finances, it’s never too early to start teach kids about making smart money choices,” said Treasurer Mandel. “Ohioans who are educated on financial literacy have better tools to build a strong personal foundation for their families, which is very important to our state’s future.”
