Economic Development Bond Program

Summary of the Economic Development Program
Chapter 166 of the Ohio Revised Code authorizes the issuance of economic development bonds. These bonds are issued by the Treasurer of State for various economic development assistance programs administered by the Ohio Department of Development. These bonds provide funds for direct loans and loan guarantees for projects within the state. The bonds are secured by and payable from state profits derived from the sale of spirituous liquor.
